Please read carefully. All rentals are subject to these requirements. Certain fees may apply based on age, mileage, condition, or violations of these policies.
- A valid, unexpired driver's license is required.
- The reservation name must match the renter's identification.
- Additional verification may be required.
- False or incomplete information may result in denial or cancellation.
- Lux Express Jax is a commercial vehicle rental company; renting motor vehicles to the public is our primary business activity.
- Every vehicle is a Lux Express Jax fleet vehicle rented directly by Lux Express Jax.
- Lux Express Jax is not a peer-to-peer platform, vehicle-sharing marketplace or rental intermediary.
- All reservations must be submitted through the official Lux Express Jax booking portal; rentals are not completed through social media direct messages.
- Every reservation must have qualifying insurance coverage.
- Customers may provide proof of qualifying full-coverage personal automobile insurance.
- Or customers may purchase rental protection through our approved third-party insurance provider.
- If you don't currently have qualifying insurance, we will provide instructions and a secure link to purchase the required coverage before the reservation can be confirmed.
- Vehicle pickup or delivery cannot take place until insurance requirements have been satisfied and verified.
- Lux Express Jax operates as an independent commercial vehicle rental company. Any third-party insurance or protection product is subject to that provider's own eligibility requirements, policy terms, exclusions, underwriting decisions, and applicable law. Coverage or eligibility is never guaranteed by Lux Express Jax.
- A 50% rental deposit is required to reserve the vehicle.
- The deposit is applied toward the total rental balance.
- Remaining balances must be paid according to the confirmation and rental agreement.
- Applicable payment-processing fees are disclosed before payment.
- Availability is not guaranteed until the reservation is officially confirmed.
- Only approved and listed drivers may operate the vehicle.
- Additional drivers must provide identification and receive approval.
- Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle is prohibited.
- Drivers under 21 may be accepted for rental, subject to approval.
- A young-driver fee applies and is added to the rental total.
- Additional approval or insurance requirements may apply.
- Final approval is subject to license, insurance, identity and eligibility verification.
- Each reservation may include a mileage allowance.
- Additional mileage may result in added charges.
- Mileage limits are displayed in your rental agreement.
- Travel must remain within approved areas.
- You must disclose your intended destination.
- Out-of-state travel is prohibited unless written approval is issued.
- Unauthorized travel may result in additional fees, vehicle recovery, or termination of the rental.
- Gas vehicles must be returned at the required fuel level.
- The Tesla must be returned at the required charge level.
- Refueling, charging, idle, or related fees may apply.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all vehicles.
- A cleaning and odor-removal fee may apply for violations.
- Vehicles must be returned in reasonable condition.
- Excessive dirt, stains, trash, odors, spills, or pet hair may result in cleaning fees.
- Pets require prior approval before travel.
- Applicable cleaning or damage fees will be disclosed at booking.
- Extensions must be requested before the scheduled return time and are not guaranteed.
- Late-return fees may apply.
- Failure to communicate or return the vehicle may lead to recovery action.
- Renters are responsible for tickets, tolls, parking charges, towing expenses, and violations incurred during the rental.
- Administrative fees may be added where permitted.
- All accidents, damage, theft, or mechanical concerns must be reported immediately.
- You must cooperate with law enforcement, insurers, and Lux Express Jax.
- You may be responsible for deductibles, damages, loss of use, towing, recovery, or other amounts described in the rental agreement.
- Rental vehicles may use GPS or telematics for safety, vehicle recovery, mileage verification, maintenance, and enforcement of rental terms.
- Racing or reckless driving.
- Illegal activity of any kind.
- Towing or subleasing.
- Unauthorized commercial use.
- Driving under the influence.
- Allowing unauthorized drivers.
- Tampering with GPS or safety equipment.
- Transporting prohibited or hazardous materials.
